¿Qué pasa con el nombre del grupo?

For those of you who are new to the Spanish language, we thought we would share a little bit about our organization's name "Practica Plática" just incase you had some questions about the name's origin.

Why Practica Platica? 

In spanish, the verb 'to practice' is practicar, while the verb 'to chat' is platicar.  If someone wanted to say the noun form of the verb platicar, it would be plática. 

Since the entire purpose and reason for our club's existence is based upon practicing conversation, it just seemed so fitting to put the two together!

Not to mention they just so happen to rhyme. 

What the heck is PePe? (better not be what I think it is.)

'PePe', pronounced peh-peh, not pee-pee, is the Spanish pronunciation of the group's initials PP. 

Peh-peh is more fun anyway.
